Submission wrestling, submission grappling, or combat wrestling is a general term that focuses on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission through use of submission holds. Submission wrestling brings together techniques from catch wrestling, folk style Greco-Roman, freestyle, Judo, Japanese Jiu-jitsu and Sambo to name a few methods. We use the term submission wrestling to refer to a grappling method while avoiding association with any one art form. All levels of students are welcome, and we also provide private lessons as well as advanced classes upon request.
